Ben Douglas Goff III, 73

Ben Douglas Goff III, 73, of Winchester, passed away Saturday at the Fountain Circle Care and Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Winchester, he was born June 16, 1943, to the late Ben Douglas Goff Jr. and Dolly Woods Goff. He was a member of the First Christian Church, he attended the First Presbyterian Church, he went to Culver Military Academy for high school, member of Clark County Lamplighters Club and was a lifelong farmer.
He is survived by three sons, Ben Douglas Goff IV, Steven Van Hooser Goff and Thomas “Jake” Goff; the mother of his children, Cindy Goff and Marcy Goff; grandchildren, Strauder, Tucker and Claire Goff and their mother, Kelly Goff.
He was preceded in death by sister, Jane Goff Hodgkin, and grandson, Whitt Goff.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5p-7p at the First Christian Church, 24 E. Hickman Street.
Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Cowell, Ruge DeVan, David Stanfield, Stuart Scram, Loyd Hugh, Bill Borkenstien, Charles Wells, Larry Barber and Gene Barber.
Contributions may be made to the US Forestry & Wildlife Department, 1700 Bypass Rd, Winchester, KY.
