Phyllis Neal Hartman of Winchester passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at the University of Kentucky Hospital, Lexington. Born in Clark County, she was the daughter of Leroy and Anna Mae Neal and the wife of Kermit G. Hartman of Winchester. They were married 51 years.
Phyllis was a member of the Providence Baptist Church, Winchester and an avid University of Kentucky basketball and Philadelphia Phillies baseball fan. She loved to cook her homemade fudge, beer cheese and great meals for her family.
Phyllis is survived by her son Kermit Hartman Jr. and wife Shannon and her son-in law Kenneth Odorizzi and wife Kimberly. She is preceded in death by her daughter Lucretia (Chris) Odorizzi and an infant son, John.
She is also survived by her sisters Mary Abner, Linda McMillan, Ruby Fields, Billie Black and her brother Dan Neal and preceded in death by her brothers Roy Neal and Bobby Neal and sisters Ora Lea Clem and Virginia Carpenter. She is also survived by her grandchildren Charlotte, Kermit, and Henry Hartman of Phillipsburg, New Jersey and Elijah and Molly Odorizzi of Winchester.
She is also survived by hundreds of loving nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends across the United States and by her loyal and spoiled dog Harry.
