The 10th Region Coaches Association has compiled its weekly stats report for the girls basketball programs around the region.
Each week the members showcase the leaders in each statistical category as well as any milestones or accomplishments by players or coaches in the 10th Region. Each coach also votes on their top five teams in the region and the list is compiled into one top five poll.
For the second consecutive week, George Rogers Clarkâs girls basketball team had players show up in nearly every statistical category and in the top five of the coaches poll.
Clark County was voted the second-best team in the region by 10th Region coaches, dropping one spot after being the top-ranked team in the region last week. Bishop Brossart was the team that jumped the Lady Cardinals in the rankings. The two teams will meet in the MLK Jr. Classic this Saturday at Letcher Norton Gymnasium. The rest of the top five poll had Campbell County, Paris and Bourbon County in third, fourth and fifth, respectively.
