CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Charged
— Craig A. Wilson, 55, of Mount Sterling, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence, failure to produce insurance card and no seat belt.
Reports
— At 5:37 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to Save-A-Lot, 755 Ecton Road, after someone passed two counterfeit bills.
Accidents
— At 10:47 a.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Mount Sterling Road in which Sierra E. McKinney of Clay City was traveling east rear-ended another vehicle, driven by Robert Patton of 13269 Iron Works Road. Patton’s vehicle spun around and damaged a wooden fence. Patton and his passenger Sandra G. Patton were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center and one was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— On Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to 14 general medical calls, one cardiac case, three respiratory cases and one seizure.
— At 9:21 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at 50 N. Maple St.
— At 10:49 a.m. Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Mount Sterling and Sewell Shop roads.
— At 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1465 W. Lexington Road. It was a false alarm.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
— At 10:51 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Mount Sterling and Sewell Shop Roads.
— At 2:41 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Little Stoner Road.
WINCHESTER POLICE
Charged
— Bocephus M. Corbin, 33, was charged Tuesday with possession of drug paraphernalia.
— Christopher C. Turner, 28, was charged Tuesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Reports
— At 1:56 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 333 S. Burns Ave. for a possible kidnapping. Bocpehus Corbin was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
— At 9:29 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Veterans Memorial Parkway and Maple Street after a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
— At 9:29 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 207 Mutual Ave. concerning a theft of property.
— At 10:09 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 1215 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a theft of merchandise.
—At 5:48 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 270 April Way concerning a stolen vehicle.
Accidents
— At 9:01 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to an injury accident on North Maple Street in which a vehicle driven by Michael T. Baker of 12945 Iron Works Road. was traveling north. Baker said the sun was in his eyes and did not see the traffic light turn red. A second vehicle, driven by Madison S. Trent of 606 Dixiana Drive pulled out from West Washington Street and was struck by Baker’s vehicle. Two passengers in Trent’s vehicle, Addilyn Stamper and Braiden Stamper, were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
