Harold Henry Rainey, 78, husband of Edith Mae Sparks Rainey passed away on Monday, October 21, at 9:47PM after a short illness.

Mr. Rainey was a native of Clark County, born on January 22, 1941 to the late Howard Hampton and Bettie Anderson Rainey. He was retired from Paul Miller Ford in Lexington where he worked for more than 55 years. He was a member of the Church of God Cathedral.

In addition to his wife of 55 years, he is survived by one son; Jason Scott (Renee) Rainey and one aunt; Ada Adams.

Services will be 10:00AM Friday, October 25, 2019 at Scobee Funeral Home by Rev. David Douglas. Burial will follow at the Winchester Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Rainey, Rick Portwood, Randy Harman, Gary Sparks and Jimmy A. Rainey. Honorary pallbearers will be Sandy Willoughby, Ernie Sparks, Jesse Sparks, Clyde Sparks, Charlie Sparks and Gary Willoughby.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00PM Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Scobee Funeral Home.
