Flossie Stepp Profitt, 79, widow of Charles Vernon Profitt, departed for glory on Friday, October 18, 2019.

A native of Irvine, KY, she was born on January 15, 1940, to the late Harvey and Sallie Kirby Stepp. She was a Baptist, longtime stay at home mother and later owned a grill and billiards game room.

Survivors include four children, Sandy Broadbent, Gregory Scott Profitt, Charles Vernon Profitt, Jr. and Brian (Missy) Profitt; one sister, Nettie Stepp Stone; five grandchildren, Robert, Lisa, Tasha, Joshua, Shawnee and Josh; and several great grandchildren, family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Wayne Jenkins; two brothers, Beverly and Chester Stepp; and brother-in-law, Lowell Clay Stone.

Services will be at 2:00PM, Monday, October 21, 2019 at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Sandy Broadbent. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 1:00PM until time of service.
