Bonnie Templeman Murray, age 76, a resident of Winchester since 2013, passed away October 3, 2019, at Clark Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Murray, whom she wed June 16, 2013; step sons, Mitchell (Linda) Murray of Lafayette, IN and Brent (Edith) Murray of Lexington; sister, Dorothy Templeman France of Morehead; and two grandsons.

A Morehead State University graduate, Bonnie was a teacher at Haldeman Grade School in Rowan County and later in the Sullivan County school system in Bristol, TN. A devout Christian, Bonnie was a Sunday school teacher at Hickory Tree Church in Bristol and later in Forest Grove Christian Church in Winchester, where she was also a member of the Forest Grove Ladies Friendship Circle and the First Settlers Homemaker Association.

Bonnie loved the outdoors, sharing her flowers with family and friends, gardening, and caring for stray animals that came to her home. She was a very giving person who will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2019, with a memorial service beginning at 11 a.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351. Larry Deckard will officiate.
