One week removed from having two teams finish in the top three at the region tournament, including the winning team, Robert D. Campbell Junior High School sent five golfers to the middle school state tournament.
Like they did a week ago, RDC was able to come away from the weekend with a championship.
The Cardinals went to a playoff against North Marshall after the two teams ended the day tied at 238.
RDC won the playoff and came home from Louisville with a state championship trophy.
Jacob Settles led the Cardinals championship run, shooting a 76 on the day.
Following Settles, Clay Turley shot a 79, Jace Patrick shot an 83, McCaden Skeens shot a 90 and Joby Mitmesser shot a 99.
