Saturday was indeed colorful as volunteers threw colored powder at runners and walkers at Clark Regional Medical Center.
About 50 participants walked and ran CRMC’s first-ever Color Run Saturday.
Sarah Alexander, director of marketing at CRMC, previously told The Sun the proceeds benefit Clark Regional’s Auxiliary Cancer Patient Fund and Clark County Relay for Life.
During the event, attendees learned more about CRMC’s oncology program and other cancer prevention and screening services while at the event.
CRMC also offered free skin cancer screenings, and the inflatable colon returned as the finish line
Dr. Rebecca Bartee also spoke about cancer prevention before the event.
