Charged
— David Cawby, 25, of 1601 Jennifer Road, was charged Monday with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Accidents
— At 12:39 a.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to an accident near the 100 mile marker on Interstate 64 in which Garry D. Shrout of Salt Lick was traveling ease when a tire blew on his vehicle. the truck then crossed the median and the westbound lanes before striking an embankment. Shrout was not wearing a seat belt. Shrout was pronounced dead at the scene.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— On Monday, EMS personnel responded to 16 general medical calls, one cardiac case, three respiratory cases, one diabetic case, one seizure, one stroke, two overdoses and five motor vehicle accidents.

— Adam Brendan Clem, 27, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking.
— Christina M. McBride, 34, was charged Monday with possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
— Carlton Jacob Nickell, 25, was charged Monday with possession of drug paraphernalia.

— At 12:08 a.m. Monday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, concerning an assault.
— At 11 a.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning a vandalized vehicle.
— At 2:05 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 1020 Bypass Road concerning a person going through a repossessed vehicle without permission.
— At 2:17 p.m. Monday, officers wer called to Speedway, 39 S. Maple St., concerning a theft.Adam Brendan Clem was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.
— At 3:27 p.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning an identity theft complaint.
— At 3:41 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 508 College St. concerning an assault.
— At 4:50 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 1459 Rolling Hills Lane concerning an employee theft.
— At 10:50 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 27 E. Washington St. concerning an assault.
Accident
— At 5:55 a.m. Friday, officers responded to an injury accident at 118 Magnolia St. in which Robert Wren of Clay City was traveling west when he ran over a pedestrian lying in the street. The pedestrian, Jesse English of Lexington, was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 10:11 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Revilo Road.
— At 12:16 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Irvine Road.
— At 3:57 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 4274 Colby Road.
