CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Charged
— Lisa Almon, 44, of 121 Mimosa Drive, was charged Sunday with speeding, driving under the influence, disregarding a traffic control device, reckless driving, failure to notify state of address change, no proof of insurance and no registration receipt.
— Marc Boyd, 30, of Mount Sterling, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence, possession of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle and resisting arrest.
Reports
— At 1:39 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to 2417 Old Boonesboro Road concerning a theft of a lawn mower and two checks.
— At At 2:27 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 5386 Irvine Road after a woman was bitten by a dog.
Accidents
— At 9:02 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Paris Road in which a vehicle driven by Jason A. Meeks of Rock Hill, South Carolina, was traveling south when he looked down at the radio and struck another vehicle, driven by Eugene M. Barber of 1510 Van Meter Road. Witnesses said Meeks’ vehicle crossed the center line into the opposite lane. Meeks and Barber’s passenger Guillermo Hernandez of 1510 Van Meter Road, were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries. Barber was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 33 general medical calls, two cardiac cases, two respiratory cases, two seizures and one obstetric case.
— At 1:26 pm. Friday, firefighters responded to a fuel spill at 171 Westside Drive.
— At 1:43 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at 1 Shoppers Drive.
— At 2:03 p.m. Friday, firefighers responded to a motor vehicle accident at Maple and Washington streets.
— At 6:29 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1307 W. Lexington Ave. It was a false alarm.
— At 9:02 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at 3565 Paris Road.
— At 5:11 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to smoke in a building at 19 Meadow St. It was caused by food in an oven.
— At 4:26 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at the 7 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

— At 8:46 a.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Nick Lane.
— At 1:49 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Lexington Avenue and Shoppers Drive.
— At 3:50 a.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Vanover Way.
— At 6:26 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 7735 Red River Road.
— At 9:03 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 3565 Paris Road.
— At 11:04 a.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Delaplain Road.
— At 7:48 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Duvall Avenue.
— At 1:07 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 104 mile marker on Interstate 64.
— At 4:26 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 7 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.
WINCHESTER POLICE
Charged
— John Willis Battle, 52, was charged Thursday with driving on a DUI-suspended license, failure of nonowner to maintain insurance, no or expired registration plates and disregarding stop sign.
— Marcus Hinton, 48, was charged Thursday with resisting arrest and first-degree indecent exposure.
— Duane Holder, 33, was charged Thursday with second-degree criminal trespassing and criminal littering.
— Timika Lace Ashley, 27, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking, endangering the welfare of a minor and public intoxication.
— Ryan Keith Fraley, 26, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking, endangering the welfare of a minor, public intoxication, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
— Maria Guadalupe, 32, was charged with fourth-degree assault.
— Sancha Lynn Hayes, 40, was charged with public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.
— Jessica M. Reed, 41, was charged Sunday with third-degree burglary and driving on a suspended operator’s license.
Reports
— At 12:58 p.m. Thursday, officers took a report of a stolen purse.
— At 2:38 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to 228 Winn Ave. concerning a theft of medication.
