Shelter spotlight for June 5, 2019

Crissy is an 8-year-old cattledog-hound mix, and Molly is a 10-year-old labrador mix.
These girls have been through a lot together and the Clark County Animal Shelter staff would like them to live their lives out together in the perfect home.
Crissy and Molly lived with one owner most of their adult lives. He passed away roughly eight months ago and a family friend agreed to take the two girls to avoid them being sent to the shelter.
Their previous owner lived in Florida so the girls were transported from Florida to Kentucky to settle in with the family friend. Unfortunately, just as these girls were settling and starting to get comfortable, the new owner accepted a new position with her job and was transferred to Texas. They did not plan to take the two senior girls with her so they were surrendered to our facility.
These girls are very easy going. Molly is sweet and happy to see everyone. Crissy can be a bit shy at first but will quickly approach for attention. Crissy isn’t as excitable as Molly.
Both are mild-mannered and are fine with other animals. As far as shelter staff know, they are housebroken.
These girls have a clean bill of health and are looking for the perfect family to love them and give them stability.
The adoption fee is $50 for cats and $80 for dogs, which includes the spay and other routine vetting.
