Justice Elementary School students showed off their leadership skills during the fourth annual Future Workers and Leaders Day Thursday.
Students performed, gave tours and taught community leaders Steve Covey’s seven habits of highly effective people, which the students develop during their time at Justice.
Justice teaches the seven habits and has the students practice them every day. Throughout the tour, students showed these habits to community leaders.
The seven habits are: Be proactive; begin with the end in mind; put first things first; think win-win; seek first to understand, then to be understood; synergize; and sharpen the saw.
The annual Leaders Day recognizes the hard work students put into practicing their habits and shows the community leaders what the students are capable of.
