Dorothy Jean Chism Wall, 83, wife of Elmer Noland Wall , for 65 years, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019. She was born July 23, 1932 to the late Roy Leighton and Mildred Aldridge Chism Temple in Winchester. She was a homemaker, and member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, where she was a pianist, and also played piano at Northside Baptist Church. She loved embroidery, reading, playing the piano and being with family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Teresa Dianne (Fred) Dulin, Audrey Sue Borders and David Keith Wall; grandchildren, Jeremy Sean Estes, Jonathan Leighton Nightingale and Adam Mitchell Dulin; great grandchildren, Ethan Leighton and Conner Lee Nightingale; sisters-in-law Dorothy Mae Ballard Chism and former sister-in-law Frances Smith Chism Puckett; Nephews Andy (Gail) Chism and Matthew (Brandy) Chism; nieces, Kim (Bill) Baber and Shannon (Paul) Bellamy in addition to several great nieces, nephews and many cousins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers Paul Leighton and James Harold Chism and sister Helen Louise Chism, also a nephew Anthony Gayle (Tony) Chism. Services will be Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Rolan G Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Montgomery officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon till the hour of service. Burial in Winchester Cemetery. Rolan G Taylor Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
