Joseph Elmo Christian, 89, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, KY, surrounded by family.

A native of Lincoln County, Missouri, he was born on January 16, 1930, to the late David N. and Edith H. Christian. He retired from East Kentucky Power Cooperative in 1991, was a member of Central Baptist Church, and devoted himself to family and mischievousness.

Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Julia Ann Worsham; his parents; seven brothers; and two sisters.

He is survived by three daughters, Ellen J. Flinchum, Janet C. Peat, and Jennifer M. Robinson; three grandchildren, Forrest, Carmen, and Alex; and two great-grandchildren, Huck and Collette.

Services will be held at noon, Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Scobee Funeral Home by Pat Finley.

Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
