Brooks Place congratulates the Cards

Rose Mary C. Brooks Place celebrated the George Rogers Clark High School girls varsity basketball team Monday.
At Brooks Place, players visited residents, ate cake and talked about their excitement about their “Road to Rupp.” The team advances to the KHSAA Girls’ Sweet 16 state basketball tournament this week. The Cardinals will face Mercy at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rupp Arena.
Carol Bennett, marketing director at Brooks Place, said Brooks Place wanted to recognize their hard work.
“They have done such a great job,” Bennett said.
