Events at Trinity UMC

Financial Peace classes offered
Calvary Christian Church will host Financial Peace classes each Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the churches campus at 15 Redwing Drive. Classes will be taught by Brad Hacker. Childcare will be provided. For more information, call 859-351-6495.
Food pantry at First Baptist Church
First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St., will open a food pantry in partnership with God’s Pantry from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday at the church. The pantry is open to those in need and for donations from the community. For more information, call the church at 744-6624.
Services at Salem Church at Pine Grove
What do the ads for the Super Bowl have to do with the Gospel? Find out about it this Sunday at Salem Church at Pine Grove, 312 Combs Ferry Road. Worship at the “Small Country Church with a Big Heart for Jesus” begins at 11 a.m. The Sacrament of Communion will be celebrated, and a chili/soup potluck will follow the service.
Services at First Presbyterian Church
— Services at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Worship will be lively and traditional. Come dressed casual or formal, but more importantly, come expecting to be moved by the Spirit. There will be a potluck meal at 11:30 a.m. Sunday school classes for children, youth and adults begin at 9:30 a.m. Sundays. Junior high and high school youth groups meet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sundays. — Chili dinner and bake sale fundraiser, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at the church, 130 Windridge Drive. Meal include chili, saltines, beverage and cookie for $9. Bake sale will include various fresh-made items like bread, cakes, pies, cookies, brownies and more. Eat in or take out offered and local delivery available for order more than $36.
