More than 300 children participated in the annual Shop With A Cop event sponsored by the Clark County Fraternal Order of Police. Each participant was given $125 to spend on clothing and Christmas toys.

The children chosen to participate are recommended by the schools’ family resource centers, but lodge members do additional work before arriving at the final list.

This is the 26th year for the event, which has spent more than $20,000 on local children.
