Robert Lewis Blake II, 57

Mr. Robert Lewis Blake II, 57, of Richmond, passed away, Thursday, December 13, 2018.

Robert was born on February 1, 1961 in Richmond. He was a graduate of Madison Central High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. Robert was a retail sales representative for Janell Concrete and Masonry Equipment Company of Lexington. Formerly he was a sales associate for Lewis Bakery where sold and delivered Bunny Bread.

He was preceded in death by his father: Robert L. Blake; his maternal grandparents: Nelson and Edna Hatton; and his paternal grandparents: Hiram and Mary Blake.

Robert is survived by loving family which includes his mother: Shirley Hatton Nickell (James) of Winchester: one sister: Kim Blake Fields; a niece: Staci Fields Hamlet (Joseph); his nephew: John Christopher Fields; two great nephews: Kaden Christopher Fields and Coleman Nickell; one great niece: Rosslyn Hamlet; his step-mother: Shirley Howard Blake; an aunt: Betty Ann Blake Hicks: (Paul); an uncle: Nelson Hatton (Leandra); a step sister: Suzannah Nickell Grimes (Robert); a step-brother: Jason Nickell as well as several cousins and dear friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home 328 West Main Street, Richmond with Rev. Nick Sandefur officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
