Lewis speaks to Winchester Rotary

- Jeff Lewis, director of the Winchester Parks & Recreation Department, spoke to the Winchester Rotary Club Friday. Lewis talked to the club about the history of the College Park facility, the Silver Sneakers program and upcoming events. The WINSPRINT Triathlon is happening Oct. 6 at 15 Wheeler Avenue. The event starts at 7 a.m. and will conclude some time shortly after noon. More than 105 participants This is the only event of it's kind in Winchester. Participants will swim 400 meters, bike 10km, and run 5km. The HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL is planned for October 19-20. This annual event hosts over 500 per year and includes a haunted house, haunted swamp, inflatables, face and pumpkin painting, and snacks. Tickets are available for purchase at the front desk.
