CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Reports
— At 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to Colby Road concerning a stolen ATV.
— At 4:57 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to 2649 Mount Sterling Road after someone entered a barn and took a snowmobile.
— On Wednesday, deputies were called to 179 Greenway Drive concerning a stolen lawnmower. Through the investigation, it was determined it was picked up by employees of Rural King by mistake. The employees were supposed to pick up a mower from Skyline Drive. No charges were filed.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— On Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 12 general medical calls, one cardiac case, one respiratory case and one seizure.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
— At 1:51 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to 2264 Old Ruckerville Road for an investigation.
— At 2:11 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 3820 Pine Ridge Road.
— At 6:46 a.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Lasalle Drive.
WINCHESTER POLICE
Charged
— Eric V. Brown, 33, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
— Jerrell N. Christian, 32, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking.
— Janis D. Walker, 31, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking and was served a warrant.
Reports
— At 3:19 a.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning an assault and an emergency protection order.
— At 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 250 Mutual Ave. concerning a theft of chickens.
— At 8:13 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft. Janis Walker was arrested for theft by unlawful taking.
— At 11:36 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Speedway, 39 S. Maple St. concerning a person trying to pass a counterfeit $50 bill.
