Clark Regional employees earn certification, degree

Teresa Daniels
Teresa Daniels, director of infection prevention and employee health for Clark Regional Medical Center, earned her master’s degree in nursing along with a specialty in infection prevention from American Sentinel University in May 2016.
Teresa earned her associate degree in nursing in 1992 and a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2006 from Eastern Kentucky University.
Teresa began her career at Clark Regional Medical Center in 2005 as an emergency room nurse. She has filled several roles during her time at CRMC including staff nurse, charge nurse, interim quality director and environment of care co-chair. She is an active member of the LifePoint infection prevention advisory board.
Daniels has been director of infection prevention since 2010. She earned a national board certification in infection prevention in 2013. She is a member the Bluegrass Association of Infection Control and Epidemiology and the Kentucky State and Regional Infection Prevention and Epidemiology Program (K-STRIPE). CRMC congratulates Teresa on her hard work and pursuit of higher education, focusing on taking excellent care of patients.
Ken Hogan
Ken Hogan, East Central Kentucky Market director of materials for Clark Regional Medical Center, has earned the designation of certified materials resource professional by the Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management, a group of the American Hospital Association.
The CMRP certification signifies a commitment to career advancement while representing accomplishment and expertise within the field.
Hogan has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky, has been employed in his role at Clark Regional for more than 10 years, and in similar roles at other hospitals totaling more than 35 years. The supply chain team at Clark Regional won the Service Excellence Award for Best Supply Chain Operations in the LifePoint system in 2012.
He also serves on the Partners in Education Board of Directors. Ken and his wife Jan live in Winchester. They have two married children, Michael (Tina) Hogan, of Lexington, and Megan (Clark) Howell, of Mount Sterling.
