Two Clark County teens were indicted Thursday for causing thousands of dollars to vehicles with a frozen pumpkin on New Year’s Eve.

John C. Hisoire and Matthew Ezekiel King were both arrested following the incident in which nine vehicles were damaged. Detectives estimated the total damage at more than $30,000. Hisoire was indicted on one count of first-degree criminal mischief and King was indicted for complicity.

Following his arrest, Hisiore told detectives with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office he and King were driving around the Stoney Brook neighborhood when they found the frozen pumpkin near the road.

They stopped to pick it up and continued around the neighborhood, with King driving the car and Hisoire throwing the pumpkin until it shattered.

The charges are class D felonies with a sentence of one to five years upon conviction.

The Clark County grand jury also returned the following indictments May 3, 2018.

— Patrick R. Hundley, theft by unlawful taking (auto), first-degree promoting contraband, second-degree promoting contraband, tampering with physical evidence.

— Zachary S. Burgess and Eric White, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. first-degree persistent felony offender (Burgess)

The following cases were dismissed by the grand jury.

— Andre Delgado, second-degree rape.
