Janice Gibson Sams, 59, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on May 27, 1958 in Winchester to the late James R. and Barbara Estes Gibson. She was a retired bus driver. She loved the outdoors and was devoted to her family. 

She is survived by one daughter, Evan Sams (A special friend Nathan Thompson). One son, William (Jennifer) Withers. One sister, Jaime Gibson Busch. One niece, Kayla Busch. Two nephews, Jared Gibson and Jacob Busch, and her four-legged companion Toby. 

She was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Gibson.

A celebration of life will be at 2:00 PM Friday, March 30, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home by Dr. Ed Mesta. Burial will be at a later date in the Winchester Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00PM, until the time of the service.
