CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Accidents
— At 5:02 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Iron Works Road in which Charles Hager of 1434 L&E Junction Road lost control of his pickup truck in a curve. The truck went into a ditch and overturned. Hager was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— On Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 11 general medical calls, one respiratory case and one diabetic case.
— At 5:02 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Iron Works Road.
— At 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an accident at Paris Road near Royal Oaks between a car and a telephone pole.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
— At 8:12 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a possible vehicle fire on Interstate 64 near the 90 mile marker.
— At 5:03 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 11090 Iron Works Road.
— At 8:18 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 1854 Miller Hunt Road.
— At 11:04 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 10984 Iron Works Road.
— At 1:38 a.m. and 7:24 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a motorhome on fire at 2433 Schollsville Road.
WINCHESTER POLICE
Charged
— Michael Faustich, 51, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence (second offense) and was served a warrant.
— Richard Lee Stamper, 39, was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree assault.
— Taneka Lasha Travis, 29, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking.
Reports
— At 12:33 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 245 Carolina Ave. for a person causing problems.
— At 4:39 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 122 E. Lexington Ave. concerning a person causing problems
— At 2:21 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 114 Georgia St. concerning a stolen package.
— At 4:08 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft. Taneka Travis was charged with theft by unlawful taking.
— At 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 410 E. Broadway St. concerning an assault. Richard Lee Stamper was arrested nd charged with fourth-degree assault.
— At 8:17 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning an assault.
