anniversary services
Clark-Wiley United Methodist Church will celebrate its 145th anniversary and final worship service at 152 W. Broadway St. at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12. The Rev. James Williams, The Lexington District Superintendent, will bring the word and the Rev. Chrysanthia Carr-Seals, pastor of St. Paul UMC in Paris, will preside. Please come and share in this time of remembrance and thanksgiving in the life of the church.
Reunion homecoming
at Eastside Baptist
Eastside Baptist Church, 148 E. Broadway St., will have a 20th reunion homecoming service at 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, by pastor Joe Price. There will be a potluck meal following the service. Come join us as we celebrate 20 years of worshipping and serving God.
Broadway Baptist revival
There will be a fall revival service at Broadway Missionary Baptist Church, 121 W. Broadway St., at 7 p.m. nightly Nov. 7-9. The Rev. Samuel Peoples is pastor. The Rev. Christopher Wimberly Sr., pastor of Hunter Hill First Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta will be the guest speaker.

First Presbyterian Church
Services at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Worship will be lively and traditional. Come dressed casual or formal, but more importantly, come expecting to be moved by the Spirit. Sunday school classes for children, youth and adults begin at 9:30 a.m. Sundays. Prophecy conference
at Grace Bible
Are we living in the last days? Discover the answer to this question and many more at the fifth-annual Prophecy Conference of Grace Bible Church, 250 N. Main St. in Winchester. Salem Church at Pinegrove
The congregation of Salem Church at Pine Grove, 312 Combs Ferry Road, will celebrate Communion Sunday, and will consider that Sacrament as an expression of Thanksgiving. Worship at “The Small Country Church with a Big Heart for Jesus” begins at 11 a.m., and will be followed by a Thanksgiving potluck luncheon.
Services at Liberty Bible COG
Services at Liberty Bible Church of God, 6615 Veterans Parkway, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. There is a Bible study at 6 p.m. and youth services from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sundays as well. Pastor is Paul Hollingsworth 859-771-1009
Craft bazaar and bake sale
There will be a “Country Kitchen: Craft Bazaar and Bake Sale” from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, and Saturday, Nov. 11, at Grace Free Will Baptist Church, 4281 Haley Road, Lexington. There will be a variety of woodcrafts, inspirational items, apple butter, jellies, candies, cakes, pies, quilts and Christmas goodies.
