Emergency responders said a man was found dead in the water at a local fishing spot.

At around 2:30 p.m. today (Thursday) Winchester Fire-EMS, Clark County Fire Department and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at the Clark County Fish and Game Club on Waterworks Road.

Fish and Wildlife officials reported that a man was found floating face down in the lake on the club’s property.

Officials on the scene confirmed an unidentified man was found in the water. He was dead when emergency crews arrived and was transported by ambulance from the scene.

Responders said the cause of death was possibly from natural causes, but the incident is still under investigation.

No other information, including an ID or description of the man, is available at this time.
