Kentucky State Police arrested a Winchester man Thursday after he was found in possession of sexual images of minors.
Vincent Gray, 20, of Winchester was arrested at around 11 p.m. by the KSP Electronic Crime Branch. He is charged with one count of distribution and 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Each charge is a Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison.
Gray was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation, according to a KSP press release. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering Gray shared images of child sexual exploitation online.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Winchester. Equipment used to share content was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing, according to KSP.
Gray was lodged in the Clark County Detention Center, where he remains as of Friday afternoon.
