SHERIFF
Charged
— James Tipton, 39, of 434 Old Muddy Creek Road, was charged Saturday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
Reports
— At 12:16 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 5017 Colby Road after someone stole weed trimmers, a chain saw and other tools from a garage.
— At 6:16 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to Van Meter Road after someone stolen a license plate from a vehicle.
— At 11:36 p.m. Saturday, a deputy was at Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, when he noticed a suspicious male. after receiving consent to search, the deputy found two plastic bags with suspected methamphetamine.
— At 1:05 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 3800 Pretty Run Road after tools and other items were taken from storage building at a construction site.
— At 10:30 a.m. Sept. 26, deputies were called to 4270 Irvine Road after someone broke into a residence and took several firearms.
— At 4:53 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 709 Terry Drive after someone hit a rock with a baseball bat, damaging a house.
— At 10:24 a.m. Friday, deputies were called to 2533 Log Lick Road after someone stole an all-terrain vehicle.
Accidents
— At 8:30 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 104 mile marker in which Aaron Morrison of West Liberty was traveling west when his vehicle went into the median, struck a culvert and overturned several times. Morrison was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

FIRE-EMS
— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 48 general medical calls, three cardiac cases, eight respiratory cases, one stroke, one seizure, two overdoses and one obstetric call.
— At 8:30 a.m. Friday, EMS personnel responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 104 mile marker.
— At 8:43 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to 100 Springmist Lane for a kitchen fire.
— At 12:48 a.m. Saturday, firefighters were called to 412 Noble King Court for a fire in a trash can which ignited the side of a house. It was out when firefighters arrived.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
— At 10:53 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Lexington Road and Lofgren Lane to provide mutual aid for Lexington Fire Department.
— At 10:01 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 391 Kilarney Drive.
— At 2:02 a.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 606 Colby Road.
— At 11:13 a.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 200 Glenway Road.

Charged
— Lisa Faye Crase, 54, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking and failure to appear.
— Johnny Ray Dargavell, 31, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (two counts), third-degree possession of a controlled substance (two counts) and possession of marijuana.
— Walter L. Hatton, 34, was charged Saturday with alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and third-degree assault.
— Michael McGowan, 53, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking and was served two warrants.
— Steven Corey Milton, 31, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence and disregarding a stop sign.
— Caleb C. Reed, 27, was charged Sunday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
— Victor Rodriguez, 34, was charged Saturday as a fugitive from another state.

— At 1:37 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 1459 Rolling Hills Lane concerning a theft of air fresheners. Michael McGowan was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.
— At 2:12 p.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning a stolen wallet.
— At 6:27 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 122 Jefferson St. concerning damage to a vehicle from a shopping cart.
— At 7:21 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 204 Holly Ave. concerning a person in a residence who fled on a bicycle.
— At 11:19 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 701 W. Lexington Ave. for a domestic disturbance. Victor Rodriquez was arrested and charged as a fugitive from another state.
— At 1:51 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 30 Jackson St. concerning a person slumped over a car’s steering wheel. Johnny Dargavell was arrested on multiple charges.
