Located at 836 Bypass Road, DJ’s Steakhouse Bar and Grill is well known across Winchester for its fine dining. 

Soon, another interesting event will occur. 

According to a press release from the establishment, the multi-genre singer-songwriter will be playing a solo acoustic set of original music on Saturday, April 26, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 

A Richmond native and retired Kentucky Army National Guard veteran who was deployed overseas four times in places including Iraq and Afghanistan, Glover – a multi-time Josie Music Awards winner – wrote music for over 20 years before establishing collaborations with both Oakwood Recording Studios in Nicholasville and Beaird Music Group in Nashville, TN. 

The singer-songwriter has performed throughout the Commonwealth since 2023, plus in multiple songwriters’ showcases in both Nashville and Knoxville, TN. 

Glover is also no stranger to Winchester, having made prior appearances at The Hall Coffee & Social Club on S. Main Street and Abettor Brewing on N. Highland Street. 

According to Glover’s Electronic Press Kit, the artist released his first fully self-funded full-length studio album on compact disc, vinyl, and streaming – titled “Missed the Whole Damn Thing” – in October 2024 after working with veteran producer Dean Miller. This was followed shortly thereafter by the Kentucky-themed “Blue Album”, which is only available via physical format. 

Glover’s versatility in styles has helped him grow a catalogue of over 250 songs that can be tailored to fit his audiences’ desires, and – while able to perform deep, sad songs – has also performed spirit-lifing comedy. 

The latter includes a 3-hour long Halloween-themed set only played in October, and has helped earn him nicknames such as “the Weird Al of Lexington,” in reference to musician Weird Al Yankovic.
