Maurice Hampton Davis, Jr. 51, passed away Saturday, April 5, at Clark Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Maurice H. Davis and Barbara Keeney Davis. He was employed at 84 Lumber in Lexington. He was a GRC graduate, Eastern Kentucky University and a Mason. He was a loving father, son and brother to his family and enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading. He is survived by his daughter, Kaylee (Jalen) McCoy; sisters, Davina Crowe, Debbie Palmer, Doris Campbell and Donna (Ralph) Taulbee.; a special brother Wayne Parido; a great nephew Luike Maurice Davis , several nieces and nephews ; and a special fur baby, “Pepper”. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Maurice H. Davis, III and sister Linda Young. Visitation will be Thursday , April 10, from 5-7 pm at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Winchester and his service on Friday, April 11, at 11:30 am, also at the funeral home.
