It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Patsy Mae Rudder, who peacefully departed on March 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. A woman of unwavering affection and warmth, she leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories. Patsy was born April 3, 1943 and lived a life filled with joy, kindness and a deep love for family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, a true matriarch, a source of strength and comfort to all her family and friends. Her compassion for others, gentle spirit, heartfelt hugs, charisma and infectious laugh, touched countless lives and her memory will be forever etched in our hearts. Patsy was a Supervisor at Vincent Fister Moving & Storage in Lexington for 10 plus years and worked as Order Selector at Michael’s Distribution for another 10 plus years until retirement. She had a passion for working in the yard, putting together puzzles with friends, sharing a “half cup” of coffee with family, spoiling her grandchildren and her favorite pastime was porch-sitting with family and friends. Above all else, she cherished her family, always ready with a listening ear, a warm embrace and the best of advice. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel loved and valued, and her genuine warmth touched all who knew her. Patsy is survived by her children, Lisa Rivera and Jimmy Walling; grandchildren; John James, Alisha Simpkins, Alyssa Ramsey, Brooke Gallihugh, Selena Rivera and Sheldon Otis; great-grandchildren; Derek and Allison James, Wyatt and Delanee Ramsey, Callie and Luke Compton, Kyleigh and Tinley Gallihugh; great-great grandchildren, Josie Thurber and Braelynn James. Also many other loving relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry Carter Daily and Edna Lee Dailey. A celebration of Patsy’s life will be held on Saturday, March 15, from 11:00 am -1:00 pm, at Rolan G Taylor Funeral Home. Following the service, at 1:00, we will gather for burial at Clarmont Memorial Gardens in Winchester.
