The George Rogers Clark boys basketball team (26-5) is moving on to the 10th Region Semifinals after a 57-52 victory over defending 10th Region Champion Campbell County (22-10) in the quarterfinals on Monday night.

Despite trailing by 9 points at the end of the first quarter, GRC rallied and – taking their first lead of the fourth quarter – took home the win.

As a result, they will play 388th district champion Nicholas County Blue Jackets (20-10) in the 10th Region semifinals on Monday, March 17, at Montgomery County High School at 7:30 p.m

In the other 10th Region semifinal matchup on March 17, at 6:00 p.m., host Montgomery County (20-10) plays Mason County (17-13). 

The winners of both games will play each other in the 10th Region Championship on Wednesday, March 19, at 7:00 p.m. with the victor moving on to the KHSAA Sweet 16 at Rupp Arena in Lexington beginning Wednesday, March 26th.
