Holly Stevenson VanMeter, 86, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025. She was born March 16, 1938, to the late Thomas J. and Mildred Dickenson Stevenson, in Winchester, KY. She is survived by a daughter, Mimms VanMeter Chavez, and a son Nelson VanMeter; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Mimms Cross, and a grandson, Roy Allen Johnson, II. Her services will be on Tuesday, February 25, at 11:00 am, at the First Christian Church, 24 E. Hickman St., Dr. Jerry Johns presiding. Visitation will be on, Monday from 4-7 pm. also at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Clark Co. Animal Shelter, 5000 Ironworks Rd, Winchester, KY or Leeds Center For the Arts, 37 N. Main St., Winchester,KY.
