Ada Mae Hopper, 84, beloved widow of Harley “Zeke” Hopper, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024. Born on May 21, 1940, in Clark County, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Fannie Tubbs Winburn. Ada dedicated her life to being a homemaker and later found great purpose in caring for her husband during his final years. She faithfully attended South Irvine Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Teresa (Mike) Chism and Debbie (Vincent Embry) Banks; her grandchildren, Tabitha Chism, Christopher Woodward, and Gregory Woodward; and her beloved pets, Sadie and Rosie, who brought her much joy.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ada was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Woodward; her brother, Cecil Winburn; and her sister, Elsie McVey Brown.
A service to honor Ada’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel, with burial to follow at Winchester Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
