Local news sources recently mentioned that multiple employees of the organization expressed frustration regarding delayed pay – an especially inconvenient scenario given the closeness to the holiday season. 

In a message sent to the Sun, the company sent out a memo expressing their thoughts.

Addressed with the headline of “Dear Pearl Associate,”, the message continues. 

“We want to update you on an important matter regarding payroll. We encountered an unexpected accounting issue when we migrated to a new payroll system. Unfortunately, we did not catch this issue before processing today’s payroll. We have immediately addressed the problem and can assure you that payroll will be made on Monday, December 9th. We deeply regret any inconvenience this delay may cause and are addressing the situation with the utmost urgency. We have already implemented measures to resolve the issue and prevent future occurrences. We take full responsibility for this mistake and are committed to improving our processes to better serve you.” 

It also stated the following actions that are available to be taken. 

“If you incur any eligible overdraft fees due to this delay, please reach out to Pearl HR…We are here to support you and will work quickly to resolve any issues. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we manage this matter. We value your dedication and apologize for the disruption.”
