Ola B Berry Allen, a lifelong member of El Bethel Methodist Church, was born April 1, 1932 the youngest child of the late Bertilia Miller and Wade R. Berry. On September 28, 2024 she was reunited with her loved ones. Her sisters Lois Snowden and Mary Elizbeth Crowe as well as her brothers Ova Berry and Mike (Morris) Berry preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Connie Chism of Richmond and many nieces, nephews, friends, along with her church family. She is also survived by her bonus family Phil and Kim Polley and their children and grandchildren, who called her Mamaw B.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Bill Tokpah and Danny Hall at Scobee Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 1:00pm with burial to follow at The Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Brian Eury, Shane Polley, Bradley Hardy, Brian Johnson, James Reed, Ronnie Spicer and Marvin Powell. Members of El Bethel Methodist Church and family members will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will begin at 11:00am until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
