George D. Hall, 87, widower of Lola O. Hall, 82, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024. Born in Clark County, Kentucky on May 8, 1937, he was the son of the late Gentry and Dorothy Miller Hall.
Mr. Hall retired from Sylvania and was a lifetime member of the Central Kentucky Coon Hunter Association. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church now known as First Fire Trinity.
Survivors include his daughter, Vicki L. (Douglas L.) Rupard; grandsons, Logan D. (Emily K.) and Lance D. Rupard; great grandson, Sidney F. Rupard; many special friends including Ron Toler, Jack Clemmons, Larry Frost, Richard and Phyllis Voltz.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by siblings, Martha Jane Davis, Jennings, James B., and Dallas Wayne Hall.
Services will be at 11:00AM, Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Jim Hall. Burial will follow in Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Luke Kiser, Dale Steagall, Logan Rupard, Lance Rupard, Bill Hall, and Jason Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be George Johnson, Charles Miller, Richard Crouch, Jim Hurd, Belvin “Slick” Brandenburg, Ken Davis, Chuck Hall, Claude Branton, and Shirley Snowden.
Visitation will be from 10:00AM until time of service.
Family would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to the many caregivers, especially Melissa Todd for all her medical care over the years.
