Darrell Reffett, age 59, went to rejoice with his Savior Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Darrell was born on December 30, 1964 to the late Ed Reffett and Joyce Crowe Reffett in Winchester, Kentucky. He was of the Christian faith. He was a UK fan, enjoyed fishing, music, boating, riding his Harley, hunting and cooking. His most cherished times were with friends, family & his best friend Remington. He retired from Columbia Gas after 32 years, where he was a Construction Coordinator and Union Committeeman. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Joyce Reffett. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife and best friend of 36 years, Carolyn (Shumate) Reffett, brother, Joey Reffett (Gulena) , a special niece whom he loved like a daughter: Brittany Fugate (Jeremy), a nephew, Sean Kelly and a great-nephew, Elijah Fugate. He will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him. The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
