Dorothy Lee Holland, 83, widow of Edgar Snowden Holland, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Clark Regional Medical Center. Born in Oxford, Ohio, on January 9, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lizzy Brown Jones. She was retired from Osram Sylvania and of Baptist faith.

She is survived by two children, Carol Jean (Steve) Charles and Susan (Kirk) Lafferty; siblings, Linda McIntosh and Charles “Buck” (Pat) Jones; three grandchildren, Steve Edward (Lauren) Charles, McKenzie (Jacob) Baltz, and Liam Charles; two great grandchildren, Adlee Marie Charles, and Callan Snowden Charles; several adopted children, grandchildren, extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ray Jones, Clarence “Sonny” Jones, and Billy Jones.

Family will receive friends at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel at 12:00PM, Monday, July 29, 2024, until time of service at 1:00PM. Pastor James Bush will officiate and burial will follow in the Boonesboro Cemetery.
