With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of William Albert “Bill” Berryman. Bill passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024, after a full and meaningful life. He was the son of Linville and Vivian Fox Berryman, of Clark County. Bill graduated from Clark County High School in 1954. He was maintenance supervisor for 16 years at McCamish Manufacturing. After farming for many years he started Berryman Tree Service, in Winchester. He dedicated himself to 45 years of tree service work. Bill retired in 2022. His passing leaves a void in the lives of his family and friends.
Survivors include one brother, George (Susan) Berryman; three children, Alex (Kelley) Berryman, Layne Berryman, and Susan (Chris) Abney; four grandchildren, Mia Cornette, Alex Queen, Jahde Berryman, and Carly Abney; one great grandchild and best friend of many years, Vinetta Wills; and numerous cousins and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 5:00-7:00PM, at Scobee Funeral Home. Services will be at 12:00PM, Monday, July 15, 2024, at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Ron Lutes. Burial will follow at Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Fox, Keith Berryman, Matt Huffer, Danny Johnson, Keith Rost, Kenneth Hugley, Brent Beuttel, and James Harrison. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Berryman, Ray Davis, Dr. Bennett Asher, Dr. Freddy Terrell, Prewitt Sams, John Masterson, Will Hodgkin, Randy Todd, Jeff Walson, Harvey Chenault, Bryant Dunn, and David Bailey.
