Wife of the late Don Castle of Kentucky, entered eternal life on February 18, 2024, after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late O.H. “Sonny” Bagnal, Jr. and Eugenia Watts Bagnal. After graduating Aynor High School, she attended Clemson University, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Gail grew up in the pharmacy business known as Bagnal’s Pharmacy in Aynor, S.C. She worked as a pharmacist in Georgia, South Carolina, Washington State and Kentucky.
Gail had fond memories of her grandparents, Oliver Bagnal, Sr. and Grace Huggings Bagnal and Herbert James Watts and Stella Viola Hucks. Gail is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles E. Bagnal and Benjamin “Ben” T. Bagnal. She is survived by a brother, Larry Bagnal of Murrells Inlet, S.C. Gail was a devot Christian, and a treasured memory of hers was a mission trip with her church to Haiti. Gail was a most caring, kind hearted person. In fact, of all people, it could be said of Gail that if she could not say or do anything to help you, she certainly would never say or do anything to harm you. A very special thanks is extended to Gail‘s best friend in Kentucky, Mrs. Vinetta Wills of Winchester, Kentucky. She advocated for Gail and visited Gail numerous times each week. It was most comforting to know that Mrs. Wills was sitting beside Gail when Gail went home to be with the Lord. Gail will be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Our comfort is God’s promise that for all who love and serve the Lord, we will see our loved ones again. At this time, no services have been planned. |
