GRC girls bowling captures victory over Madison Southern

The George Rogers Clark High School girls bowling team competed recently and came away with a tightly contested win over Madison Southern.
Madison Southern captured the first game with a best of four score of 446 to the Cards 426.
The Lady Cards came back in the second matchup and won 482 to 419. GRC won the day on the tie break with a higher pin count of 43 pins.
The Lady Cards co-captain, Meredith Fryman was the teams top performer bowling a 225 in the second match.
Ava Mardis was the team’s next highest scoring bowler followed by team co-captain Ella Brock.
“I am really pleased with the sportsmanship and performance of this year’s girls team,” said Brock.
