It is time for some old-fashioned, handmade goodness at Grace Free Will Baptist Church Ladies Auxiliary’s 10th.

The annual craft and bake sale is on Nov. 10 and 11, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The church is located at 4281 Haley Road in Lexington just off the Avon exit of I-64, between Winchester and Lexington.

Also, the auxiliary will give away a Christmas wreath this year. With their purchases, people will have their name put in a drawing to win a wreath. The auxiliary will draw the winner’s name on Saturday,  Nov. 11, at 2 p.m.. You do not need to be present at the drawing. Someone will contact you and arrange a pickup time.

Fried apple pies and baked apple pies, made the way your grandma did, cakes, fudge, and cookies are among the tasty items for sale. Other items include quilts (all sizes), baby quilts, potholders, aprons, wreaths, centerpieces, wooden crafts, inspirational pieces and much more.

That’s not all. Support the church youth by stopping by their booth for homemade items and/or purchase a hot dog with homemade sauce. You will not find hot dogs as good as these in any restaurant in town.

Talk with the auxiliary floral designers to order vases and saddles for gravesites and headstones for the Christmas season. Or, let the quilters know what you need and they may create it for you.
