GRC boys’ soccer on 2-game winning streak

After losing two of their first three games by a combined score of 7-0, the George Rogers Clark Cardinals are on a winning streak.
The Cards (3-2) traveled to southern Kentucky to take on Pulaski County last Thursday and walked away with a 2-0 win. Senior Clay Turley and junior Gratz McCraith found the back of the net for GRC. The goals were Turley’s second of the year and McCraith’s first. Turley and junior Caleb Bush picked up assists.
Last Saturday, GRC earned a home victory over Region 10 rival Campbell County, 3-1. Seniors Joey Hill and Jacob Ebert, and junior Ryan Palmer all scored their first goals of the season during the match. Turley, senior PK Vogel and junior Drew Brookshire contributed an assist each.
The Cards played home matches against Tates Creek on Thursday and Bishop Brossart on Saturday.
