Jo attended Hickman Street Elementary School and graduated from George Rogers Clark High School in 1965 as the salutatorian of her class. She began her career at Jones, Nale and Mattingly (47 S. Main) and remained at that same office, through many name changes, as the office manager for 49 years. She loved her job and it gave her the flexibility to put her family first.

Jo remained active in community groups that were near and dear to her heart. As a 24 year breast cancer survivor and 9 year colon cancer survivor, Jo was very involved with Pink Ribbon Partners, a world-wide breast cancer awareness foundation. Jo was also a member of the Clark County Homemakers Group: The Rowdy Golden Girls. These groups, along with family and friends that loved her deeply, were blessed to live and love life, and laugh together, enjoying every moment.

Jo is survived by her daughters (Her girls) Tiffany Rank (Ken) and Jaime Moore. Grandchildren Abigail Rank Aydlotte (Paul), Benjamin Rank, Elijah Williams, Josie Williams, their father Shannon Williams, cousin Dorothy Barnett Peel, and adopted daughters Dawn Pelfrey, Alicia Gillman, Tiffany Flinchum, extended grandchild Libbie Aydlotte, and many other close family members and friends.
