Dr. James Birchfield to give presentation at Second Thursday

The Bluegrass Heritage Museum’s Second Thursday program returns later this week with guest Dr. James Birchfield.
Birchfield is the former Curator of Rare Books at the University of Kentucky and will speak give a talk titled “Kentucky Bust Portraiture.”
An experienced curator, Birchfield has worked with early maps, manuscripts, books, paintings prints and photographs over the course of his career. He has severed on the boards of Henry Clay’s Ashland, the Blue Grass Trust and the Warwick Foundation.
Birchfield has been a featured speaker at the Natchez Antiques Forum and at the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts.
The program begins at 6:30 p.m.
