Irene C. Anderson, 99, widower of the late John Henry Anderson, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023 at home. Irene was born on February 27, 1924, in Clark County, to the late John and Letha Wiler. Irene retired from the Clark County Board of Education where she faithfully drove a school bus for over 27 years. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Irene is survived by one son; Kenneth (Kim) Anderson, grandchildren; Samantha Anderson, Rachel Anderson (Ryan) Hyslop, Ashley Anderson (Nathan) Garrison, great grandchildren; Reid Hyslop, Ryder Hyslop, Emily Garrison, Charlotte Garrison and Madeline Garrison.

Irene was preceded in death by one son; Raymond Shirley Anderson, one daughter-in-law; Vivian Anderson, sisters; Myrtle White, Mary Calvert, Dorothy Johnson, Geneva Williams, Mildred Wiler and Phylis Noble, one brother; John Logan Wiler Jr.

Services will be at 12pm Monday, May 8, 2023. at Leon Pace Memorial Chapel. The burial will be in Winchester Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Nathan Garrison, Ryan Hyslop, Ed Calvert, Randy Wisman, Gary Garner and Bobby Bailey.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Leon Pace Memorial Chapel from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday, May 8, 2023 from 11 a.m. until service time.
