Cindy Wesley has been named Clark Regional Medical Center’s new Market Chief Nursing Officer.

Lifepoint Health, the hospital’s parent company, announced the hire in a news release.

Wesley is excited to start and will begin her new duties at the end of the month.

“I’m thrilled to join the team at Clark Regional Medical Center,” said Wesley in the release. “I look forward to working with the skilled nursing professionals, physicians, and staff to continue to provide the best possible care to our patients.”

Wesley is a registered nurse, has a certification in patient safety, earned an MBA degree and brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare and nursing leadership to the position and served in a similar role at Clark Regional’s sister hospital in Paris, Bourbon Community Hospital.

Clark Regional’s CEO had high praise for Wesley.

“Cindy is an exceptional leader with a deep understanding of the nursing profession and the vital role it plays in patient care,” said Matt Smith. “Her experience and knowledge will be instrumental in ensuring we continue to provide exceptional medical care and patient experiences here at Clark.”

The release states that Wesley will lead the hospital’s nursing teams and collaborate with the rest of its staff to provide care. Wesley will also perform the same role for Bourbon Community
