The race to fill the vacant seat in Kentucky’s 28th Senatorial District is coming to a close, but before voters cast their ballots in May, they will hear from all three candidates on Thursday.

Democrat Richard Saint, Independent Richard Henderson and Republican Greg Elkins will square off at a candidate forum starting at 6 p.m.

The event is sponsored by Bluegrass Community and Technical College’s Winchester campus, WWKY radio and the Winchester-Clark County Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber will live stream the forum on its Facebook page and WWKY will broadcast it on its FM (102.9) and AM (990) frequencies.

The Sun will have a reporter following the event, and there will be a full write-up in next Tuesday’s paper.
